Cake Hand Converter Instructions:
  • This program converts hand histories from the Cakepoker, Redstarpoker or PlayersOnly format into Pokerstars hand history format. The resulting files can then be imported into database programs like Pokertracker and Hold'em Manager.
  • The cake hand converter was designed to allow players to record and analyze hands that they participated in only. It will automatically skip all observed hands.
  • This program is free to use for everyone and any future updates will also be free:
    • The demo version is available to everyone and allows the first ten hands in each file to be converted.
    • The full version requires you to have an active Rakeback account with Cakehandconverter.com, Onlinepokerpromotions.com or any of their affiliates and partners.
  • You will login with your rakeback account's email and password to activate the full version and will then be allowed to convert all hands in each file.
Important Features:
  • The program first audits all files in your chosen directory and determines automatically:
    • The game type (Holdem or Omaha).
    • The betting structure (No Limit or Fixed Limit) (High Only or Hi/Lo)
    • The level of the stakes and blinds.
    • The time the first hand began and the last hand was completed.
    You will then be presented with a chart where you can view and edit these values prior to conversion to the Pokerstars Hand History Format. The program will then fill in all missing information possible and will allow most hands to be converted. In some cases the hole cards of the losing player in a hand are not displayed. This will not prevent the hand from being converted and importable into a database.
  • No unnecessary assumptions are made(we do not assume mucked cards. ie: adding AK)
  • The program correctly identifies and correctly converts hands with:
    • dead posted extra blinds
    • without a small blind
    • containing an all-in bet and incomplete information at showdown
  • The program will only find hands contained in the directory you specify and it will not search subdirectories automatically. You must specify each directory separately.
